What do you enjoy most about being part of the KS&R team?
Even though our teams have grown and most of us work from home, I feel like KS&R makes it a priority to connect all of us. I’ve liked getting to know everyone socially through games on Fridays, joining clubs, and in-person get-togethers.
What brings you great joy in your life?
I very much enjoy photography. Thankfully my loved ones are patient with me because I can spend 10-15 minutes trying to get the perfect shot of peeling paint or something equally trivial.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I’ve volunteered in various suicide prevention efforts for several years. Most of the time I never get to see the results of my efforts, I just hope I was able to help. Occasionally, I’ll run into someone I used to work with and it is the best feeling in the world to see them thriving in life.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I think it would be cool to fly. I’d get to see so many things from a different perspective and I’d never have to get stuck in traffic again.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
My grandma used to let me stay up as late as I wanted, as long as I was reading in bed after my “bedtime.” So whenever I slept over at her house I’d be super excited to stay awake all night and then would fall asleep by 11 PM on a book.
What’s your favorite zoo animal and why?
It’s hard to choose just one because I LOVE the zoo. But I guess I’d say the snow leopards are my favorite. They just seem to have the biggest personalities as they play and lounge around.
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
I’d want Nicholas Cage to play me, as well as everyone else in my life. Watching it would be a truly magical and horrifying experience. Somehow, I think he could still manage to win an award for the performances.
