Recruiting senior business and IT decision makers is difficult and grows more difficult each year. Beyond access issues, speed is also a concern – the typical research cycle can take weeks to find the right B2B participants. Instead, the goal is to create a pool of easy to access participants willing to take part in regular research requests to understand what these executives are feeling and doing.
We identified the qualifications that would help us target the types of senior decision makers and influencers we were looking for. Information on their areas of expertise as well as current challenges were collected to help us zero in on who was best fit for each wave of research in order to get the most relevant insights. Motivators for participation included exposure to early concepts and topics, as well as the opportunity to be part of a community who help to inform thought leadership content in the technology space.
Building this community of senior-level technology experts led to a number of successfully executed research engagements. We were able to efficiently leverage the panel for feedback on topics of interest for our clients with a much quicker turnaround than a standard project engagement. We were also able to re-access specific individuals to validate findings for deeper insights in just 48 hours. Armed with the research findings, our clients were able to build internal strategies and produce more informed thought leadership content.
