KS&R Recognizes Employees for Community Involvement
In keeping with KS&R’s long-standing commitment to community involvement, the firm honors employees that have contributed significant time and skills to non-profits that are near and dear to their hearts. This year, we are proud to recognize Vice President & Principal, Mike Bard, and Apprentice, Chris Bard, for their work with Ducks Unlimited. In addition to acknowledging Mike and Chris’ outstanding effort, the Firm is pleased to have donated to this very special charity.
Mike and Chris are conservationists and outdoor enthusiasts that have been involved with Ducks Unlimited for several years. Their volunteer efforts include fundraising events such as member and sponsor banquets, shooting and fishing tournaments, and golf outings. This past April they both were acknowledged as Life Sponsors for Ducks Unlimited.
“The name infers ducks, but it’s so much more. Conserving wetlands is the primary function of Ducks Unlimited. Those wetlands provide a much-needed habitat for hundreds of species of animals, helps naturally clean water, and prevent flooding. We have a great group of friends and family who work together to organize and host fundraisers each year, so although there is a lot of work that goes into it, we have a lot of fun as volunteers.”, says Chris.
