Team Spotlight

What is your favorite part about being a Project Manager at KS&R?
The variety of clients and industries that we are exposed to. So many people spend large parts of their lives working for just one company and end up seeing things very myopically. At KS&R we get to work with a variety of clients and get to understand their challenges - it keeps things fresh and interesting.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Those who know me know that I like to ride my bikes a lot. It may be surprising to learn that I once rode 200 miles in a single day from Syracuse to Cape Vincent and back. The world's record for the most miles in a year was set by Kurt Searvogel by riding more than 200 miles every day, so I figured that I could do it for one day. By the way - the weather was perfect which helped.

What TV show character would it be the most fun to change places with for a week?
Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear/The Grand Tour. I love cars and it would be great to be on the show for a week and experience all the fine autos and scenery, but on second thought, given my personality, I should probably be James May.

What is your favorite kind of cookie?
Oatmeal raisin with white chocolate chips.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. It could be different kinds of pizza, right?

Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?
Hawaii. I have been once, but the wind was 30 miles an hour the entire time (although it was nice otherwise) and the environment is so different than ours. ‘Lost' was a big deal at the time and that made it more fun. Swimming in the ocean there is fantastic. Although, Alaska would be great as well. Can I stop there on the way back?

What was the last movie you went to? What did you think?
Parasite - before all the Oscar buzz. It was just a single showing in one of the smallest theaters. You get past the sub-titles very quickly and it was a fantastic movie with great characters that were easy to get invested in, plenty of twists in the plot, along with some great lessons to learn. It deserves all of its accolades!

What was the last gift you gave someone?
Kitchen Aid Mixer for my wife for Christmas. She loves to bake and that brings us back to that pizza thing. We did already have one, but this one is bigger!

What is one thing you will never do again?
Ride my bike 200 miles in a single day.
