What is your favorite part about being a Sr. Director at KS&R?
The variety of work that I help lead in the healthcare space. We work with top pharma and device companies, as well as smaller and mid-sized companies, all with different products in a myriad of therapeutic classes. I love that we engage with stakeholders representing a multitude of roles and perspectives across the ecosystem. There's always something new taking place in our ever-changing healthcare environment to keep work exciting.
If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs - such as food and water - were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?
That's easy. It would have to be my glasses and a good, long book! Unless, of course, I could have my fully functioning iPad with WiFi and endless power, then that would probably be it.
What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?
I have always thought dragons to be fascinating, but since the introduction of the Harry Potter series, I'd prefer a Griffin. I like the idea of having the loyalty of a pet and the freedom to ride on earth or in the skies. It would probably be similar to when I'm riding my motorcycle in the country, a refreshing experience of freedom and peace!
If you could take a month long road trip, what would be your route?
I would tour US national landmarks with my husband and son -- from Washington, D.C. to the Grand Canyon, via Route 66, and to Seattle to see some family, then back through the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. We probably would need more than a month, though. That's a bit of ground to cover!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a kid, my best friend and I would always pretend to be detectives. We loved a good mystery, and sorting out clues or putting a good story line in place was fun for us.
If you had a time machine and could jump back or spring ahead, which would you do? Why?
I would jump back. I never want to wish my life away to get to the future. Time goes too fast as it is! I'm not sure I have any strong regrets, but I would love to see some of my family again. Just to give them another hug and let them know how much I appreciate them.
If someone narrated your life, who would you want to be the narrator?
Meryl Streep. Hands down, I love her voice!
What's the worst thing you've eaten out of politeness?
Venison hamburger. Ugh. I grew up on a dairy farm, and my dad was not a hunter. We ate a lot of beef, poultry, and pork, but never venison!
