Team Spotlight

What is your favorite part about being a Research Analyst at KS&R?
I really enjoy everyone that I work with and the actual work that I do. I know a lot of people say that "no two days are the same", which is very true, but I think the employees here at KS&R are what really makes the job great.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I was an exchange student in Germany for a few months. My high school had an exchange program and we hosted a few German students and when my parents felt I was finally old enough, I got to go there for a few months. It was amazing.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
The bread winner. I wanted to be married with 4 kids and have the typical corporate job and make all the money. I might be there one day. Not with 4 kids, two is enough for me, but I could be the bread winner still.

If you had a time machine and could jump back or spring ahead, which would you do? Why?
I don't think I would want to do either. If I went back in time I would want to change something and then that would alter the future, which is not something that ever works out according to the movies. And, I don't really know if I would want to spring ahead. I would rather not know how the future turns out. I would probably try to change it if I didn't like something, which never works out either.

What is your pet peeve?
Not putting the toilet paper roll on the rack the right way. It needs to have the first sheet you tear facing down. It only rolls smoothly that way.

What would we find in your refrigerator right now?
Milk, eggs from our chickens, chocolate, vegetables from our garden, yogurt, juice boxes, soda, and of course wine. I believe there is some meat marinating for grilling one of these nights as well.

What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of it?
Titanic. I was obsessed with that movie when it first came out and any time it is on TV I can't turn the channel. I also have a little obsession with the Twilight series. Although, I was always team Jacob.

What's the best / worst practical joke that you've played on someone or that was played on you?
When I was a sophomore in high school, me and another friend of mine toilet papered one of the senior's cars. We were friends with him and he was a good sport about it, but his friends teased him for a while.

What was cool when you were young, but isn't cool now?
Well, I don't like to think of myself as that old, but a BlackBerry. That was like having the newest iPhone back in the day. You were really cool if you had a BlackBerry.
