Team Spotlight with Trevor Costa
Get to know the people behind the insights in our Team Spotlight series. We sit down with employees throughout the firm to learn about their experiences, background, and what makes them tick. In this edition, we chat with Trevor Costa, Technology Industry Team Analyst, who has been with KS&R since 2021 and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Canisius College. Discover additional insights about Trevor’s preferred superpower, his beloved zoo animal, and other distinctive aspects of his personality in this Q&A.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the KS&R team?
I enjoy being part of a team that is always willing to take the time and help each other out. From the moment that I started working at KS&R, numerous employees made sure things were going smoothly. I was so grateful to have so many people checking in to see how I was doing or if they could help in any way no matter what position or team they were on.
How did you end up at KS&R?
After college, I came across an apprentice position here at KS&R. After looking into what they did and what they were about, I was immediately intrigued. I believe becoming an apprentice was a great way for me to get started at KS&R and learn a lot about the different teams and how they operate.
What brings you great joy in your life?
All of my family, friends, and my pet bunny.
What advice would you give to yourself at age 15?
I would tell myself not to worry and stress about anything too much and to try and live in the moment as much as I could.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
Although I am afraid of heights, I would choose the ability to fly because then I would be able to travel around the world very quickly.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was going to Sesame Place with my family. This was always a trip I would look forward to. I made a lot of fun memories riding all the rides and meeting all the Sesame Street characters.
What’s your favorite zoo animal and why?
My favorite zoo animal would have to be the red panda. I think their colors are very pretty and I love watching them climb all over the trees.
