What brought you to KS&R?
Almost 26 years ago I answered a classified ad for a receptionist that KS&R had placed in the local newspaper. I was looking for an opportunity to use my administrative abilities, and also learn new skills. I saw KS&R as a place where I could grow along with the company. I never imagined how much KS&R would grow! When I started working here, KS&R was about one-eighth of the size it is now.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I was always taking care of many animals. But I realized that it would be very hard for me to deal with those circumstances when I couldn't save someone's pet.

What is the best YouTube video you have ever seen?
There is series of videos filmed by a woman who lives in Alaska about a family of bald eagles that visits her on her front porch. She has named each one of them, and they listen to her when she speaks to them. I find it fascinating that they are that comfortable being that close to her.

That I turned 13 years old on a Friday the 13th. I believe that is what started my passion for scary movies and Stephen King books.

If you had to pick a song to be the soundtrack of your life, what song would it be?
'Happy' by Pharrell Williams. The lyrics of the song really speak to me -- "Here come bad news talking this and that, Yeah, give me all you got, don't hold back, Yeah, well I should probably warn you I'll be just fine, Yeah, no offense to you don't waste your time, Here's why Because I'm happy". No matter what happens, I always look on the bright side!

If you could be anywhere in time, where would you be?
I would go back in time to my wedding day. I would love to be able to spend just one more day with my parents and my husband's parents who are no longer with us.

What makes you laugh out loud?
My son Austin always makes me laugh out loud. He is the typical 'class clown'. Just one look from him, and I can't help but laugh!
