What brought you to KS&R?
I graduated from Le Moyne College in 2011, and immediately started working as a Marketing Associate at a local insurance agency. I learned a lot of valuable skills there, but knew it wasn't the field of work I wanted to develop a long-term career in. I learned about KS&R through a friend who worked here, and after a little persuasion, I decided to apply. It was the best decision I've made! I've now been here for 2 years, and every day brings something new and exciting.

As a child, what was your answer to the age-old question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" OR "What job would you like to try?"
When I was younger, I was constantly changing my mind about what I wanted to be...a chef, a professional singer, a journalist...they were all on the list! It's pretty comical to look back on those aspirations now, considering that my cooking skills and singing voice are both pretty terrible.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?
My childhood best friend currently lives in Hawaii, so there is nowhere I'd rather be right now (especially after this long, brutal winter) than sitting on a beach catching up with her. I was able to visit her in Oahu last year, and had the most amazing time!

What is your pet peeve?
Messiness. I am constantly cleaning and organizing, sometimes without even realizing I'm doing it. I'm the type of person who can't sit down and relax unless my house is spotless.

What is your motto?
Don't overthink it. Some of the best experiences I've had have been the result of making decisions on a whim. There are so many trips I never would have taken or things I never would have done if I hadn't decided to just go for it.

What makes you laugh out loud?
It doesn't take much to make me laugh. I'm a sucker for Jimmy Fallon skits and silly cat videos…basically, anything you can find in the "Funniest Clips" section of YouTube.

What skill did you always want to learn, but haven't done anything about it yet?
I've always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I'm not sure what benefit this skill would have in my life, but I think it's a cool thing to know how to do! This may be the old lady in me, but I've also always wanted to learn how to knit.

What is the coolest thing you own?
Sentimental items are the most valuable things to me. For my birthday this year, my grandmother gave me a necklace that belonged to my great-grandmother. It's great to own a little piece of family history (plus, what girl doesn't like jewelry?!).

What is the "must have" app on your phone?
Pinterest. I'm constantly looking up new recipes and DIY projects. I really enjoy making creative gifts for people, and fun little things for the home.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I am a huge Pearl Jam fan. I recently traveled to Denver with one of my best friends to catch a show on their latest tour, and am always on the lookout for new opportunities to see them live.
