What brought you to KS&R?
I graduated from Le Moyne College with a degree in Marketing in 2011. Knowing that I had interest in the research side of the marketing field, a friend referred me to KS&R's website. I applied and was lucky enough to get the job! I have worked at KS&R for a little over 2 years now, and it continues to be a place where I expand my critical thinking skills each day as I am faced with new challenges and opportunities.
What skill did you always want to learn, but haven't done anything about it yet?
Learning to ride a motorcycle. I haven't found the courage to try it yet, but I am hoping to buy a bike within the next couple of years -- maybe a Suzuki GSX-R600 to start.
What is the coolest thing you own?
I worked at a local cookie company through high school and most of college. One summer we made thousands of cookies for a Motley Crue concert - I was a huge fan. My boss met the band, and got them to autograph a CD for me! It was a complete surprise and is definitely still the coolest thing I own!
What is the "must have" App on your phone?
Facebook. I am always checking Facebook to see what my friends and family are up to.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That while I am very organized at work, I am not at all organized in my personal life. I am constantly misplacing my belongings!
What sound or noise do you love?
The sound of waves crashing on the beach.
What's in your refrigerator?
My refrigerator is pretty empty, but there is chicken that is marinating, waiting to be grilled, and leftovers that have been in there way too long!
As a child, what was your answer to the age-old question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
A marine biologist. I have always liked aquariums and marine life. That career didn't work out, but I still love aquariums!
What is your pet peeve?
People who do not use turn signals while driving.
If you were given an opportunity to send a message to your 15 year-old self, what would it be?
Be confident in yourself and the choices you make. And keep up the hard work. It will all pay off!!
