What brought you to KS&R?
After finishing up my B.S. degree in Marketing Management from Syracuse University, I worked for several years in the transportation/logistics industry - in sales, pricing, and I.T. (it's a long story). Working with the I.T. department afforded me the opportunity to travel around the world (the company I was with had many satellite offices). When the company was sold to an international shipping conglomerate, the Syracuse office was closed, and I joined KS&R.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That I once swam with stingrays in the Cayman Islands. Definitely one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Oh, and that my middle name is Plantagenet. Bing or Google it to learn about my ancestry.
What would you most want to take with you on a trip around the world?
My wife Kathy - as long as the trip includes beaches, sun, ocean, and palm trees.
What is your favorite website?
www.SyracuseFan.com, which is a great place to get "inside" information on Syracuse University sporting events and tailgates, and have fan discussions.
www.TripAdvisor.com is a close second. It is a fantastic site to gather information on locations, resorts, restaurants, and things to do.
If you were a website, what would your URL be?
www.JaimeandKathysCaribbeanAdventures.com. One of our goals is to visit every Caribbean island. So far, we have visited about 15. Antiqua is next on the list.
Where would you want to spend the night with 10 of your friends?
In Charlotte, N.C., watching Syracuse University play in the ACC Football Championship. We'll get there some day. Baby steps first!
What sound or noise do you love?
The sound of ocean waves hitting the beach.
If you had a time machine and could jump back or spring ahead, which would you do? Why?
I'd like to talk with my mom and dad again. I miss them very much.
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I don't really have any holiday traditions. If I were to start one, it would be to toast the sunset on Christmas Eve at Soggy Dollars on White Bay on the island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. (Are you sensing a trend here?)
What do you want to be remembered for?
For being a good husband and friend to my wife. That is most important to me.
